Style Criticism

Dani: Evanna's style is exactly like Luna's and what I mean by that is that she doesn't care what other people think about her. I was afraid, at first, that the Luna Lovegood they would choose was going to be a follower of some evil, famous actor, but when I saw Evanna's style, it told me she would be a perfect Luna. Luna's my favorite character in Harry Potter and I'm sure you'll be a great Luna! Good luck!

Amanda: You know, I think Hilary is being a little harsh. Just because she doesn't dress like everyone in Hollywood doesn't mean that she doesn't have any style. I also agree with Alicia that she is very pretty. I wouldn't wear that stuff, since it's too hot to wear so many layers where I live, but I think it ends up looking very cute and I love Luna/Evanna!

CMH: Evanna's style is really unique and i love it! Its great how she isn't afraid to wear clothes that express her personality, and they look great on her! The style of clothing Evanna wears definitely reminds me of Luna Lovegood as well. Overall, I think that Evanna's style is very unique and cute and I love the way it looks!

Stephanie: At first, when I saw the pictures of Evanna, it wasn't what I imagined Luna to be. I thought they would make her hair a bit lighter, because it does say that Luna has 'dirty-blonde hair' not practically platinum-blonde hair. And her clothes were different, but Luna is different so it didn't matter. Evanna's style is great, it's sort-of how I would dress if I was Luna. In the photoshoot with the book, that outfit is adorable, but I'm assuming that someone picked it out for her. I'll have to see more of her to say I love it.

Liesolotte: I think Evanna's style shows a sense of individuality and a strong personality. And I think that's great! I'm glad to see someone who isn't a total slave to fashion and immodesty. She manages to dress a little differently without making her clothes really crazy and loud. Her clothes are very unique and pretty. I think she will be able to play Luna as a slightly eccentric person, though not in a bad way! I think people get too one-sided and judgemental and class Luna as "weird" with a negative tone to it. But I think the real thing that makes Luna different is that she isn't afraid to do, or believe in, her own thing. (crumple-horned-snorckacks : ) I hope Evana will portray her that way. No matter what, I am most excited about the fact that a real Harry Poter fan (one of us!-though I'm not British)has finally been chosen. I mean, we're all sitting out here watching the movies, waiting for the 7th book to come out, and what have we ben able to do to show our admiration? get the book at midnight? well, I for one feel that Evanna is representing me! You go girl!

Sophie: I love Evanna's style. It's unique and imaginative, i'd love to be able to wear what she does I just don't have the sort of confidence and imagination to think of putting a blue wooly jumper, red velvet skirt and purple tights together. I love that she goes against stereotypical actresses and teenagers. Most of us follow trends and wear whats in the big chain shops. Its great wearing your own homemade t-shirts, I love to do that to!

Fashion popo: Evanna you dress like a normal teenager.You know what looks good on you and you wear it.You make it work for you.Then you wear stuff that fits you!! Nearly no one does that anymore! You go girl! (like pre-bleached blond hair though it is more natural)

Kimi: I love Evanna's style. To tell you the truth, I have no idea how but our dress sense matches so much! I mean somehow, I always end up wearing the most mismatched of all clothes. At first people think I'm weird, but then they get used to it, and just know that that's how I am......a unique Idividual. I believe Evanna is one too.

Sadie: Her style is very confident, but I didn't picture Luna to have light blonde hair, more like Dirty Blonde, but if J.K. Rowing thinks that she's perfect as Luna than she is. I like the shirt she's wearing in the second picture.

Christina: I love Evanna's style. Although it is the kind of thing you can find in one of those odd model-style shoots(That I LOVE!) She can make it her own and encourage those girls who think they can't wear anything that doesn't look painted on, to try 'other' things. I would deffinitely dress like her. If I could find any clothes like that. Which can easily BE found at thrift stores, and used clothes stores. Aw..i just realized..she's my favourite character:) lol.

Evannasfan: I think Evanna's style matches Luna's style. I wouldn't wear it but it's nice to see that they picked someone who at least dresses like Luna. Maybe it's different where she lives, maybe dressing like that is what's "cool" IDK. But I think [hoping] that Evanna is A LOT like Luna because Luna is a very "cool" character. But anyways, keep workin hard Evanna!!!

Kirsten: My name is Kirsten and I like Evanna's style. Evanna has her own style just like Luna. Personally, I wouldn't wear it, but she seems to know what looks good on her. I love how she can match so many different colors together. In all her pictures she looks confident. Evanna's style is definatly her own. She is an individual. Evanna makes a path withe her style she doesn't follow another path. It is completely Luna!

MsAnonymous.Nobody: Well, her style suits her and that's just how it should be. I mean, you should wear what looks good on you and not what everyone else is wearing. I definitely think her style sense is unique but not quite weird in a bad sense. It's really zany ... but it's good. I myself like to mix-n-match and wear my clothes. Evanna ... go girl... you rock!!
PS. I kinda adore your hair. It's just perfect.
PPS. Oh and though the radish-earring idea didn't find any favor with me when i read of it, after seeing luna with them, i'd like to try them too.

Aries: i love her style! it's so unique and funky and it would also suit luna and she looks confident and secure in all her pics..it seems that she is the kind of person who does what she wants and doesnt follow every trend there is and has her own thing going on and i love that!

Samara: I think her style is really original, so I admire her desire to be herself. She definately likes color from what I see. The thing is. . .I'm not so sure that Evanna's wearing this stuff because she wants to or because she wants to stand out and be different on purpose. Does she like the attention or something? Well, she got the part of Luna so she must be doing something right with her look.

Amy: i think clothes tell ppl alot about their personality its quirky and diffrent its not something i would wear so it shows she has confidence it shows she dosent really follow the tread she reminds me jsut of a girl alled senni who i no who likes 2 be unique and make her outfits go pow and wow when u look at them soi wouldnt say i lyk it but i wouldnt say i h8 it.

Jessica: well, first of all, i think Evanna is absolutely gorgeous, and her hair color goes so well with her skin tone. I think evanna's style is kind of quirky and out there, but yet she pulls it off quite well. I do think her style matches Luna's especially the outfit with the purple tights.

Angelina: When I saw the very first picture of Evanna, I was like "What is she wearing?!?" I didn't mean that in a bad way, but I couldn't get over how absolutely NOTHING matched, and yet, it looked really great on her and she was rocking it! (the picture by the tree). I could never pull something like that off, and I doubt I'd have the guts to. It works really well for her, and that's important in style I think. Can't wait to see what she wears at the premiere.

Coco: I think her sense of style was the key point for her to get the role of Luna. [Hilary Duff was picked as the main character in the show 'Lizzie McGuire' because the producers thought they were both similar in that area.] To the people who think it's a horrible taste in clothes, have you seen how some of the celebrities in Hollywood dress? Evanna could be labeled as the next Kate Moss- trendsetter.

Isilee: Evanna is original and looks good sporting her fashion. Her nonmatching, bright colors bring into the 21st century what the 90s couldnt pull off. She wears funky styles, but because its not what everybody is wearing, its totally awesome! Everything about Evanna is gorgeously stunning!

Heather: I think Evanna's style is amazing, I have personally bought severalitems of clothing especially matching her style. Its just so differentand unlike the everyday boring clothes that most people wear. good onher!!!
